The documentary highlights some of the serious issues faced by the earth and the lithe living system of the earth. Mainly global warming mass species extinction, deforestation and exhaustion of the ocean, the documentary is focusing on the future of the human life. It helps the viewer to identify the arising threats taking place which can affect the humanity. The involvement of the human being to fight against the global warming is very essential, and for supporting this fact documentary has identified the fact that increasing human consumption of the available resource may lead to the climate change. (Benyus 1997) Today the role human being playing will lead to the destruction of earth environment. In documentary, many experts' advice and viewpoint of different professionals such as oceanographers, economic historians, and medical and environmental specialist is provided for supporting the fact that Global warming is an urgent issue nowadays that needs a solution to be able to continue our living on the Earth. The main topics, which have been covered in this movie includes the relationship of humanity with nature and the biosphere have changed dramatically with the invention of the steam engine or explosion and an economy based almost entirely on the exploitation of fossil fuels, emitting greenhouse gases. The movie explains the idea that in a finite world, the eternal economic growth based on exploitation of natural resources material, more quickly than allowed by the renewal of natural resources is not sustainable as possible.
