An Aspect of My Teaching That I am Interested in Making More Effective is Teaching Creatively

Introduction

The world we live in is a diverse place. People who are smart can take advantage of the stimulating environment and creative teaching can facilitate in doing so. Teachers can stimulate students in order to keep them interested in learning activity. Teaching creatively emphasize on better understanding with a methodology that is enjoyable because learning is most effective when enjoyable.

There is no doubt that the origin of teaching creatively is in basic education. The total volume of facts to be grasped by the student provided lesser opportunity to interrogate deeply, as a result, today's generation are technicians rather than visionaries. Teaching creatively encourages students to ask why and how, which helps in developing their understanding.

However, the critical role of creativity, discovery and imagination in teaching and learning is not recognized in accordance to its importance, even within the educational community. Teaching creatively refers to the imaginative approaches of teaching used by teachers to make learning more effective, interesting, exciting and engaging.

The teaching aspect that interests to me the most is Teaching Creatively because it is in matches with my personal philosophy. My personal experience made me believe that the success and achievement is directly proportional to the teacher's enthusiasm. Therefore, teachers must be full of energy because it will inspire creativity and emanate motivation. Creativity is surrounded by a wall that has always being targeted and to break such wall requires an attitude that sometimes perceive as craziness. Creativity requires a special frame of mind and teacher must recognize such mood. Teaching creatively oblige teachers to be active and bold, so they can hunt the mood of each student and the class from frozen climate to mysterious environment of creativity, and encourage students to think differently and creatively.

Discussion

The most distinct trait of Homo sapiens is creativity. The idea of creativity is a like a little seed that has a bitter taste but resulted in great outcomes. Creativity can bring revolution such as a small computer chip has drastically changed the global economy. Creativity can be defined as the habit's defeat by originality. Without the instant creativity, in the genes of human there would not have been any development and the man would be still living in stoneage. Every individual carry these creativity genes more or less the need is to tickle and locate them.

Teaching creatively helps in improving and discovering the hidden creative ability of a student and creativity must not be restricted to curiosity. Teaching creatively provides students an opportunity to face various problems and find solutions, in a simulated environment. This will help students to find creative solutions on problems ranging from personal, national or local business (Craft, 1997, pp.83-97).
