Introduction

Success is small words that cover a vast field of ideas and outlook into itself. Though every one has own aspect about success but what is the reality around every one's thought is generally identical. Success means to attain what is planned or desired in the manner reflecting the efforts, put in to the path of its achievement. Success is the manifestation of significant courage, faith, determination and steadfastness. This is crossing the barriers of the way in the most competent and quickest feasible mode (Boudreau, 2007).

When there is a fit between person and environment, workers are more likely to be successful and satisfied. Practically, this theory suggests that people should choose professions whose environmental type is similar to their personality type. In addition to predicting the value of an exact match of personality type to environment, Holland's theory also suggests other specific environments that are compatible with each personality type. Realistic people would be compatible with the investigative and conventional environments, investigative people would be compatible with the realistic and artistic environments, Artistic people with investigative and social environments, Social people with artistic and enterprising environments, enterprising people with social and conventional environments, and Conventional people with enterprising and realistic environments. Because most people are a combination of the various personality types, they should consider professions compatible with more than one category (Judge, 2006).

Success is also the forming of modalities for the ensuing efforts to be successful. It is linked with the happiness associated with the outcome of effort put in to gain it. The amount of pleasure gained as a result of success is the real test of the efforts behind the success. Success is a path full of impediments and one who overcomes these bears the fruit of success, because success is always found in disguise of difficulties. The success is directly related with the emotional satisfaction and sense of achievements as well. Some times the results may not be favorable but a course, which is set for the coming successes, is formulated and a direction is set for the achievements based on this set course (Kraimer, 2007).

It is also the confirmatory result of the aspiration to prevail. In reality it is the determination and consistency linked with the purpose to be achieved. It is in fact the reflection of the maintenance of aim and concentration of efforts to achieve the purpose (Seibert, 2008). Triumph is the combination of the right movements made at the right time and in right directions keeping the initiative in hand with mobility of mind and thoughts, taking quick decisions after careful appreciation of the situation in front.
