Introduction
Face reading and discovering one's own nature has very long historical background starting from drawings of Cro-Magnon cave discovered in the nineteenth century. Throughout its history, references to facial structure and their corresponding function appears in arts, medicine and literature. In history, Aristotle considered as the first person who writes an article on face reading called Physiognomonica.
From ancient times to the present, face reading has considered as an amazing art of science. In the late 1930's, Dr. Edward Vincent Jones, successfully combined genetic research and brain with the philosophies of physiognomy, which is the assessment of character of a person based on their phrenology and facial appearance. It also includes the study of human behavior based on the measurements and specification of the human skull and the study of facial structures and their corresponding behaviors.
The importance of and convenience achieved through face reading in understanding one person defined by Levine and Shefner as, The Study of facial structures gives us a new perspective on relationships between two persons. It provides respect and understanding for those with whom we want to communicate effectively (Levine, et.al, 1991).
Discussion
After reading my face for fifteen minutes in a mirror, I have achieved the result that it is very important for anyone to identify what he wants to achieve? And what he wants to be? And this is the best and the perfect way to answer these questions correctly and effectively. Now we consider some questions arise in my mind after viewing me in the mirror for fifteen minutes:
If I was a painting, what art historical period would I be in?
After reading the face by viewing it in the mirror for fifteen minutes, I found myself as a painting of 70's and 80's. As I am not so modernized as compared to others,; therefore, I consider myself in this era of painting history when I saw my face in the mirror. This duration is so long to watch your own face, but when I started to consider myself in that era of painting history I had faced short of time and fifteen minutes passed away quickly. According to Gibson, the painting gives a perfect image of any person's thought as it does not include any techniques (Gibson, 1950).
What my painting say about me culturally, politically and socially?
According to Painting I have considered after watching my face I found myself very cultured. Maybe this is the reason I found myself in that era of history when peoples respects and strictly followed their cultural norms. Politically, I found myself very strong and considered myself as a very dominating political leader that has influence on their surroundings and has very influenced on their relatives and family members. That's why I found myself quite successful in the political environment or politically. As I am not social in my normal life, therefore, I have also not considered myself as a social oriented ...
