Introduction

Spinal cord is part of the central nervous system of the human body connected to the brain. It is a three dimensional column of nerves tissues extending its ranges from medulla to the second lumbar vertebra. This ovoid column of nerves tissue is 40 to 50 centimeters' long, protected by a bone within the vertebral canal. A clear fluid that surrounds cord is known as Cerebral Spinal Fluid.
