Introduction

Shia'ism is a product of sectarianism in Islam. Shia Muslims belong to the Shia sect of Islam. The other sects of Islam include the Sunni sect. These two sects of Muslims are similar to the Catholic and the Protestant sects of Christianity. These are the basic denominations in Islam.
