Introduction

Human Resource Management is the most important part of any organization. It has now become a common trend in health care institutions to have an organized and effective system of Human Resource for the proper management of hospital staff (Niles, 2012). It involves dealing with all kinds of clinical and non clinical staff as well as their efficiency and performance. It requires special techniques to deal with human capital and resources with their motivation (Kabene, et.al, 2006). Kabene and others (2006) also defines these relationships as complex and essential for the practice in medicine or health care (www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov). This is very important to understand the need of proper management health care system for the perfect and efficient supply of the hospital staff which is the most important part of any health organization. This is not an easy task to provide organizations with all these important resources with the reason that human Resource management; it is the most crucial part because it deals with the human life. One of the major concerns is to maintain the availability of the human resources; this requires the selecting and managing employees.

Issues in Healthcare Human Resources Management

There are various issues in the health care system; the main is to provide the work force and concern about all the benefits attached to it. Some other issues are the training and proper understanding between management and hospital staff which is also depends on the various cultural, social and other backgrounds. The human resource management system in health care requires system of arranging the work force. The process of recruitment involves the proper pattern of selecting candidates for filling of specific position. Another main concern is that before arranging the hospital staff it is an essential task to define the job requirements first and then according to it planning for the compensation and incentives is also essential (Buchbinder, & Shanks, 2011). Apart from it, there is also requirement for the proper training and development program for the new staff which is also a concern for the human resource management.

For this it is required that job description and other areas of concern should be well defined. There is need of proper arrangement of the job description and responsibilities as well as defining the benefits, incentives and other factors related to the job are also very helpful in identifying and justifying the job and position.
