Rationale

The size of the Chinese food market in the United Kingdom in 2005 to 632 million pounds, an increase of 20 percent in real terms than in 2000. The microwave Chinese food is a major component of the British Chinese food market, accounting for almost 50% of the market. Two-thirds of frozen food, this market segment sales increased by 26 percent since 2002. Cooking spices accounted for 8 percent of the Chinese food market in 2005, down 23% from 2000. Cooking with spices was increased by 17 percent, accounting for 45% of the sale of spices.

British Chinese food market supply chain is very complex. Frozen microwave Chinese food is the leading supermarket brands.
