Introduction

World War II is the dominant mark in the history from where the major changes in the world can be observed. This is the most remarkable event in the history that reshaped the whole world. It has affected the economy, society, culture, political structure and demographics of the whole world. Apart from these changes one of the major influences of World war is on life and psychology of every individual. It has changed the morals, values and ethics of every individual who has suffered the destruction of war and not just that, it transferred these changes into their next generations. All these changes have deep impact on the religious thoughts and beliefs of the people. Religion is not supposed to be change it is the basic condition in the religion of all the faiths that change in religion means change of religion. This is not possible to change the religion but there are various factors that affect the practices of the religion. These factors are the social, economical and technological factors that has affected the religion and influenced the way religions have been presented and perceived. The choice of means used to represent religion has also affected by these factors and it has completely reshaped the world on the basis of the tradition and modernity. It is very important to understand all these factors that have brought these changes and reshaped the whole concept of the religion. It is very important to consider these changes and the impact of these changes in the late twentieth and early twenty-first centuries.

The major impact of all these changes have been noticed in the British society as it was suffered most from the impact of World War. British power lost its regime over the world through colonization and suffered the most because of the extraordinary loss of economy and other factors during the war. This is considered as the most crucial time in the history that has its deep impact on every individual and changed the whole ideology of moral and religious beliefs.

There have been changes already occurring in the thought of people since the movements of renaissance, reformation and the enlightenment. All these movements and other factors are affecting the society and bringing the changes but with the major events of the world and massive changes that first resulted in the form of nineteenth century industrialization and then the era of scientific learning and logic brought various changes to the concept and ideology of the religion. One more important concern is the concept that people all over the world were facing the fear of insecurity for their financial conditions, especially after the world war that they begin to lose their faith even on the religion, social concerns and transformation is also a major reason for the changes (Drucker, 1994, p.53-80).
