Newspapers, moral panics, folk devils and other communications have affected the immigration policies in Eastern Europe. Moreover, the proposal discusses the relevant literature reviews in this regard and the proposed methods for the research, as well the possible limitations the research may entail.

Introduction

We cannot say for sure if there is a direct relationship between what is promoted by the media about immigration and the shape the public opinion of the ideas and perceptions and what is applied by the countries of the policies in this area, the media, which was analyzed showed that it was the source main in the area of ??migration and migrants in terms of statistics, analysis and trends. On the other hand, the media may skew the debate on immigration by focusing on aspects such as illegal immigration, or by addressing the migration from time to time at irregular intervals, or overstatement. As they go out that the imbalance in the coverage may also be due to the tyranny of the economic aspect of the media.

Even outside of the more or less related to immigration, about media communication is an ongoing debate that affects and might be called its social responsibilities. It is obvious that the media are now the major builders of the sense, who supply the entire population models of interpretation of reality, configure, confirm or refute the views of the world. On the one hand, the media is a mirror of the values ??of a society and its internal relations and secondly, is fundamental in defining the values ??and attitudes. We cannot say that the media impose a model of interpretation and meaning on society, but amplify and shape these models. This shows that what the center of debate role of the media is. The media have a social responsibility to respond to the right of citizens and to obtain information they consider relevant, without being obscure. The relationship between the media and citizens is based on a contract of confidence.
