This assignment has focused on the fictional characters of the film “Daniel” Susan and Daniel Issacson and the other two figures of Malcolm X & Louis Farrakhan.

Susan and Daniel Issacson

The two fictional characters from the film “Daniel” Daniel Isaacson and Susan Isaacson have played their roles quite amazingly. Daniel was the brother of Susan; they are the kids of Paul and Rochelle Isaacson. Daniel was married to a girl named Phyllis, and they has a son whose name was also Paul. Paul was studying at Columbia University as a graduate student who was working on his dissertation covering the different aspects of the life of his parents which were surrounded by the conviction and subsequent execution. He was committed to find out the fact behind his parents conviction of espionage. His dedication to the new left was more tenuous as compare to his sister Susan. Daniel has a wicked, sadistic streak that was quite evident throughout the film (E. L. Doctorow, n.d.). Susan Isaacson was the sister of Daniel Isaacson. She was sensuous, fiercely committed and innocent towards the New Left and the memory of her parents. In the beginning of the film it is revealed that she has attempted suicide in the bathroom of a Howard Johnson's restaurant. Her relationship with Daniel had been strained for several years up to that point.
