Introduction

The two classrooms that are going to be used are Miss Jones'(dependent variable) and Mrs. Brown's (independent variable). Therefore the children will be the participants. What is one way to set up a hypothesis while determining how to make these two groups the same at the beginning of the experiment? Also, is there a reason why the correlations and case studies could not be useful from this study?

The Hypothesis

The hypothesis for the experiment would be that a child needs to spend an hour a day in class to be able to read a book.
