This is an educational proposal with regards to the Development of an Early Childhood Education Program.

Program Overview

Early childhood education refers to formal teaching that is provided to the young children. However, this teaching is not provided to them by their family but they are educated in an outside setting. This is defined as the education the children receive before age of normal schooling which is five years in most of the countries. In the United States, early childhood has been defined as an age before eight years. With regards to this program, the name of the center is Pipe Piper Educational Program Center and is located in Brooklyn, which is one of the most populated boroughs of New York and has the population of 2.5 million. The hours of operation of the center are from 9:00 am in the morning till 6:00pm in the evening. Since the age which is defined for early education is till eight years, the age group that is catered at the center is for children belonging to the age group of three to eight years (Ball, et.al., 2005).

The center fills a need in the community in a very positive way. Pipe Piper Educational Program Center plays a very vital role in molding the way in which the children grow. Moreover, they also groom the child with respect to its educational and behavioral abilities. Children join Pipe Piper Educational Program Center at a very young age and spend half of their day at the center. This is because the best facilities are provided to the children in the community who become the part of the program. This is important because the children learn that their school teaches them. Furthermore, they join high school and university where they are also groomed, and this plays a crucial role for humans to flourish.

Vision Statement

The vision statement of Pipe Piper Educational Program Center enables the children to be themselves. Moreover, the place nurtures the ideas and the center embraces excellence with regards to education which is provided to the children who enroll. Besides this, children are also provided with the chance to display their leadership skills and to develop their character. The service that is provided by Pipe Piper Educational Program Center is to serve the community. For this reason, it is ensured that the children feel comfortable and safe with the other children who are educated along with them at the center. Communication between parents, teachers, students and administration is also fostered and teamwork is encouraged through collaboration with regards to work. Moreover, the vision also highlights the celebration of success of the children as well as the staff to encourage growth and sense of achievement. In order to involve the community, the people can also volunteer to work for Pipe Piper Educational Program Center, which enables the center to get support.
