A first step in structuring and cultivation of our moral concerns is to identify and describe an ethical problem. Every problem we face can be made with a specific question. So the appropriate question to see if a particular state of affairs or an action morally interesting is "who hurt and / or who benefits?” If the answer you give is yes, then we can assume that we have a moral problem - though different people would face the same situation differently, because the criteria of what constitutes harm and benefit vary considerably. It should also be noted that the bodies of harm or benefits vary depending on the case under review so other than our fellow players to injuries and benefits are (often without adequate documentation) being the dead animals, the environment, even and abstract ideas (Harris, 2010).
The main reaction but presumed causes us to identify an ethical problem is a reflection of what should be done. The ethical problems do not leave us indifferent, but this does not mean that we always lead us to perform specific actions. Often we cannot do anything, sometimes we think some other officers, and should not be forgotten in those cases where although we believe that we must do something and have this feature, we fail to act (this phenomenon is called insobriety). The most common positive reaction to the presence of an interesting moral situation is the articulation of a relevant crisis and praise what we charge (if there is someone who can be held responsible). In contrast, a negative reaction manifested by seizures and convictions reproach what we charge, and the requirement to rectify.
In conclusion, once we recognize a situation where someone or something, according to our criteria, harm or benefit, we opened a wide range of positive or negative reactions that begins with jeering or thoughts and leading to our decision to intervene actively and attempt to change the situation. There is therefore, a primary material, a number of concerns, cognitive processes and actions that are common to most people over which builds moral philosophy.
