Personal Reflection

Every citizen has received a service from his or her government. It is important for the government to ensure that the service provided by it, is proper and is up to the mark so that the citizens do not face any problem. The government should make sure that when the citizens are utilizing their service, they do not face any hindrances in the completion of the service. I have had an experience of utilizing a service from the government which included the information technology, as well. It was when I went for my computerised passport. This is when I had an experience of obtaining a service from the government.

The experience of obtaining the service with the government was good. The government made sure that less time is consumed and the people do not have to wait for getting their work done. The whole process was computerised and organized. This made the whole process even easier. When I went for my passport, I was handed over a number and I had to wait. When my number came, the whole process did not take more than twenty minutes. They eased the whole process of ensuring that the citizens get their work done on time and do not have to go through the hassle of waiting in long queues and then getting their work done.

As the whole process was computerised, all information related to me that is supposed to be in the passport, was already present in the computer systems; therefore, I did not have to input all the information again, but only had to make sure that the information is correct and accurate.
