The case study is based over McDonalds. McDonalds started in the year of 1954; The Company throughout the years was poured with marketing ideas that allowed it to become one of the most renowned fast food brands throughout the globe. McDonalds most favorite and innovative products include the big Mac and egg muffin. In marketing aspects, the happy meal was initiated that was a creative idea to attract children to eat to get the toys from McDonalds. Today, it is also an internet bandwagon that is providing information at the click of the mouse around the world.
McDonalds received continuous growth. However, with the rising growth there were also many issues and problems that hurdled in the rise of the fast food restaurant and created a loss of profits. McDonalds also faced many closures and dissatisfied customers. The paper observes the organizational performance of McDonalds as well as the performance of individuals and employees in the overall performance and image of McDonalds (Kramer, 2007).

McDonalds is the provider of fast food items and a very innovative product that was later attained by my competitors of McDonalds as well. Based over the annual report of McDonalds it was one of the most leading fast food chain in the world that is serving almost 70 million customers in 120 countries.
McDonalds has many competitors that manly consist of restaurants of the same genre. The competitive advantage that McDonalds has over others is lost price meals and the brand name itself makes McDonalds high over other competitors that have to spend a lot of their expenses over the advertisements and marketing to keep a name in the market (Curtis, Lucas, 2000).
Organization problems
Throughout the years McDonalds have faced many issues and problems regarding health, employees, organizational image and customer care. McDonalds took great concern in all the aspects in order to assess and solve the issues that were creating problems for the organizational prosperity and success. Based over the work load and low payment a term 'McJob' was created that showed fast food restaurant employees especially McDonalds as a job that is low paying and need little skills as well as provides less opportunities for development and advancement
In order to assess the critical problems it is therefore important to understand the work of the organization. The working of McDonalds in food chains is greatly dependant over the managers of the restaurant. It was observed that many managers were doing operations in a machine environment. This was greatly observed in the peak business periods. There was a strong barrier between the heads and the employees and work was very hectic for the employees in this situation. This eventually had an affect over the customers also. As the happy employees lead to happy customers the performance of the employees and their stress was observed from the dissatisfactory of the customers (Kramer, 2007).
