In my workplace the barriers that inhibit the ability to get the information required on a timely basis are faced at a very significant extent. These are mainly of both, interpersonal and organizational. To "extract" the knowledge is not easy. This is due to both objective and subjective reasons. Interpersonal ones are the artifact of self concept and emotions. Among them are those with whom one can fight, and those that are insurmountable. The main barriers that are faced in the organization to get the information timely are described below.
