The following pieces of art of art work will be the most appropriate for the office.

19th century Impressionist painting

The most important characteristics of impressionist painting are the perfect use of light and work with thin strokes. It is very different from the previous trend of painting showing special occasions, richness and authority. Impressionist painting reveals life of common people and it reflects reality. Replicas of three impressionist works that I choose for the office are: Claude Monet's Impression, Sunrise 1872, oil on canvas, second piece of art is Frédéric Bazille's Landscape on the Shore of Lez, 1870, and the third piece of art is again by Claude Monet, The Cliff at Étretat after the Storm, 1885. All these three art works reflects characteristics of impressionist paintings
