Introduction

Among the sequel of the September' 11, there are a growing number of books on Islam. Stark can be coarsely divided into these two categories. On the one hand are the most politically motivated, rather journalistic books. It will be shown where that Islam is incompatible with Enlightenment liberalism, pluralism, individualism and human rights. The book of coming out of Iran Reza Aslan (American) is not one of those books, but to those who educate about Islam, Muslim culture and history.
