Data Networking

Introduction

Network Protocol is a set of rules and actions to allow for the connection and communication between two or more network devices. Different protocols often describe only different aspects of one type of connection, taken together, they form a protocol stack. The names protocol and protocol stack also indicates the software that implements the protocol.

New protocols for the Internet defined by IETF, and other protocols - IEEE or ISO. ITU-T is engaged in telecommunications protocols and formats. The most common classification system, network protocols is the so-called OSI model, under which the records are divided into 7 levels in their purpose , from the physical (the formation and detection of electrical or other signal) to the application ( application programming interface for data transmission applications).

Protocol stack TCP / IP are the two lower-level protocol that provides the basis links to the Internet (Beasley2009). TCP (Transmission Control Protocol) divides the data being transmitted into portions and numbers all portions. With the protocol IP (Internet Protocol) All parts are transferred to the recipient.Using the TCP protocol to check whether all parts are obtained. Upon receipt of all portions of TCP places them in the correct order and collect together.

It will use two 24 docks 10/100Mbps swaps hubs and one 54Mbps wireless IP Router for DSL/Cable Modem with 4 docks 10/100 Mbps swaps function to construct up the celebrity topology network in the company. The causes for choosing swaps hubs and wireless IP Router are the swaps hubs supply higher aggregate data rates than a hub, and it is not much exorbitant contrast to hub today's. For supervise the IP for the network, the computer connects swap to each dock, and then connects the swaps hubs to the wireless IP Router. Although a computer should share bandwidth with ...
