My Life has changed

I completed my high school and college in Saudi Arabia after which I applied for admission in King Abdul Aziz University. However, my father asked me to leave for education in United States of America. Initially I was a bit scared, because I will be a foreign student in United States and will not be used to of the lifestyle. I took my father's advice applied in United States and got the admission in the University. When I came to United States, the environment and the people are very different. I was afraid that Americans have stereotyped Arabs but was surprised to know that my friends welcomed me warmly and helped me in initial days. When I came to United States, I loved the environment and the people around me. They all were nice caring and helpful throughout. I was not able to find out the halal meat shops initially but later on I asked one of my friends and he told me the location. I opted for living in University hostels, which were very neat and clean and provided me extra level of comfort. The living was homelike and peaceful. For the shopping, I go to nearby shops and the groceries were very cheap. Initially I faced difficulties in communicating with the people due to language problem however later on through continuous communication I was able to communicate to my friends and colleagues flawlessly. I loved the shops lighting and all the lively surroundings. The subway train system is excellent and it made my commuting easy from one place to another.
