Introduction

This paper aims at discussing the different aspects of Fifteen restaurant group and its unique Apprentice Programme, while exploring the 10 fundamental rules presented by Mintzberg, especially focusing upon those referred to by James Oliver. The paper also discusses the McGregor's theory of x, y and the Ouchi's theory of z in order to determine whether Jamie uses the same rules all the time or he needs to changes regarding his situation and his work pressure.

About Jamie Oliver

James Oliver comes from Britain and his twenty-two years of age led a normal life just a lover of food. His star was born in 1997, when he appeared in a documentary about the River Cafe, one of the most prestigious restaurants in London. Ht is one of the world's most famous chefs. His name is synonymous with healthy and tasty food (Apprentice Programme, 2012).

Soon after when he started becoming famous, he got an offer from TV chef. He was named as a chef without a cap (The Naked Chef). Then followed and still follows the countless programs for cooking and cookbooks issued. That everyone viewed; people will need one-month vacation and a new library. Only Amazon has Jamie thirty-seven cookery books.

Jamie is far from just a cook. In 2001, he opened a cookery school that was attached to a restaurant for young people who have worked or studied. All proceeds restaurant traveled to the charity (Celebrity Net Worth, 2012). In 2004, Jamie went back to school, or rather to the school canteen, and started a campaign Feed Me Better. He taught children to eat and cook healthy and delicious. During the whole period of the campaign, he collected more than two hundred thousand signatures and he managed to obtain from the government two hundred and eighty million pounds for school meals

Jamie gradually became advantageous in marketing investment. At present people can buy everything from kitchen equipment, utensils, magazines, clothes for children and DVD. His ingredients for cooking are obviously associated with the brand Jamie Oliver. People can find him on Facebook, Twitter, and Google iStore Play (Jameoliver.com, 2012). This famous person is not just a cook. It is also a man who has a wife Jools and children Poppy, Daisy, Petal and Buddy. His wife, a former model, indicates avenue for fighter. Children have the least interesting middle names: Petal Blossom Rainbow Oliver and Buddy Bear Maurice Oliver. The creation of his recipes was a completely new experience for many people. They have tried to be methodical, creative, and informal and entertaining, with wonderful ingredients. It signifies “an explosion of flavor to your cooking”.
