In this memo the intention of Mr. Elop's is to convince employees of Nokia for the strategic partnership, as Elop's have used examples of Burning deck and changes in behavior of and individual. With the help of this change he tried to identify the change in market, which resulted in the declining sales of Nokia, moreover Memo is written for developing a success with the help of strategic alliance, as Mr. Elop's highlighted that strategic alliance will help in boosting the Nokia and Microsoft market share. On the other hand, identifying the strong competition in market depicts the intention of Mr. Elop's for highlighting the loss in market share by Nokia; he tried to motivate his employees with the help of this approach New CEO of Nokia can gain the confidence of Employees before going for a strategic alliance option.
