Apple and Microsoft are two for the biggest technology companies in the world. Technology is one industry which is marked by innovation. This means that they come up with different models every now and then. These companies are facing severe competition and hence try their level best to enhance their share of the market. For this each of the company has maintained a forward looking approach and each is quite successful at it. A matter of concern though is the fact that every new model of a phone or camera, software or tablet that these companies come up with is only slightly different from the old one. In spite of this the companies' turnover is very high and they are making very good money. The article discusses the many reasons why this is so.

The new models of technology product are very slightly different from one another. In addition, they come out at a very rapid pace. This poses two questions for the reader. Firstly, if the models are only slightly different why do they interest people so much. Secondly, innovation is something creative. It is not something automatic it's not like you could place an automatic filter and the process of creation with come up with a new technology after regular intervals. Considering the close timed innovations, can we say that these companies have all the features of and enhances technology product ready with them and they release only as they estimate demand for it?
