An organization's success is totally dependent on its design, structure and above all the leadership style being practiced by the management. In our research paper we shall discuss the details of two most important leadership approaches. The Behavioral approach, what it exactly aims at and what are the advantages and disadvantages of the particular leadership theory. Also we shall discuss in detail the variables on which effective leadership depends upon. Other than this we will also discuss the contingency approach to leadership in order to analyze the real differences between the approaches, their efficacy and application.
