Introduction

Korea and the United States of America signed an agreement, free trade agreement (FTA), an aim by US President to re-establish its leadership in Asia. South Korean President Lee Myung-bak praised the agreement as according to him this agreement will provide big economic benefits to both countries. Hence strengthen the alliance between the two nations. This agreement will reflect in a balanced manner the national interests of Korea (South) and the United States. (Provost, Megan J 2006).
