Introduction

Othello is a very strange and bloody work, since it emits real feelings of jealousy, but this work is going to extremes such jealousy is Desdemona who do cold and cruel, leaving us a great lesson jealousy kills. The work is a disgrace that gives beauty to the subject matter and therefore does not lose its esencia. Othello is a jealous and possessive that produces common in society, and this is left to be manipulated by the evil Iago is the evil part of history, which gets her lawn and ideas in Desdemona (Shakespeare, 14). Othello is the one who is full of jealousy and distrust; he learned that his wife may be sleeping with another man.

Jealousy in love cannot be born if the partners have a trusting relationship, but this notion remains in the subjective jealous. Jealousy is all the more important that the jealous person feels that his psychological balance is based on being related to the desired person: Jealousy is an issue of commitment to own jealous that has a need reassurance, even, that rightly or wrongly, the feeling may be based on imagination. In Othello the Moor of Venice, William Shakespeare makes Iago to describe jealousy as a "green-eyed monster which produces the food it eats." In the Shakespearean tragedy of Othello jealousy is a major driving force behind the inner workings of the plot. It comes in varying forms from each character, such as jealousy of the honor that men esteem themselves with, to jealousy in the lustful desires of women they have. The characters' jealous emotions are evident from the opening scene to the culmination of Othello's suicide in the end. Interestingly enough the character Michael Cassio, Othello's lieutenant, plays an integral role in both aforementioned scenes, and throughout as the source of the jealousy woven throughout the plot.

Iago was the source of all the lies, jealousy, and abhorrence and it is his scheming that directs to so numerous deaths. Many fateful events also assisted to the downfall. Othello was a person with kind nature but the main reason of his jealousy was created by the Iago. From my point of view Othello changed a lot from the beginning of the play till end but all misconception was created by the Iago his evils thoughts made him devil in the play else he was a person with kind nature (James, 82).

Iago true is jealous of Othello because his hatred for not having appointed his lieutenant gnaws and retaliation, make every effort not to let him live in peace, who may be using to achieve their goal. Besides the pride and ego of Iago is the main cause of all his jealousy of Othello.
