Abstract
Equality between women and men is a universal legal principle recognized in various international human rights texts. However, they have not been sufficient and have not received full recognition of formal equality, achieved in our country, and the guidelines for the application of the principle of equal treatment in access to goods and services, such as physical activity and sport. The data indicate that formal equality - equal access by or equal treatment - has not become a real and effective equality. Data-quantitative and qualitative- indicate that there is still some way to go. The use of the concept "effective equality between women and men in the activity and sport ", coinciding with the name of the recent" Equal” (2007), intended, first, to exploit the synergies that this law entails and Also avoid terminological disparity in the actions of the administration. Furthermore, this concept can also put the emphasis on the end result, at the arrival point, and not only at the point of departure. There are various concepts that may be particularly useful for better understanding the current situation and active policies to raise cash the principle of equality, including: affirmative action, sexual harassment, and ro-centrism Sexism co-education; nonsexist communication; responsibility; difference inequality, empowerment, equality - equality; impact of gender hegemonic model, vertical segregation (glass ceiling); horizontal segregation, gender - gender mainstreaming, equality plan; unit equality, violence against women. Introduction
