Introduction
Oestrogens are hormones (linked to the commencement of a normal menstrual cycle at puberty) that ovaries produce. Oestrogens are responsible for controlling the growth of the secondary sexual characteristics of the female gender comprising of uterus, breast enlargement, growth of pubic hair and pelvis.
