U.S. immigration policy is influenced by several factors that hinder the development of effective, strategic decisions in this area. Such factors include, in particular, the impact of volatile public mood, lack of understanding of social and economic nature of immigration, the current practice of the indigenous population of the country favored at the expense of foreign visitors (nativism), as well as a variety of narrow political considerations. Among those one of the policies enacted was for H-1B Visa. It is regarded to be nonimmigrant visa in the United States lies in the Immigration and Nationality Act. This type of visa is issued in a sense of allowing U.S employers to go for hiring temporarily foreign workers in specialty occupations. In case of foreign worker, who is working in H-1B status quits or is dismissed among the sponsoring employer, worker has feasibility to shift to another nonimmigrant status, look for another employee or shift from United States.

Introduction of H-1B Visa enables company employers to recruit temporary workers from foreign countries, and, bringing skilled and highly qualified work in workforce in reducing their overall cost.
