Introduction

Humans belong to the biological group known as “primates” who are mammals as suggested by the phenotypic history of Homo. About 2 million years ago humans emerged as a distinct species from the hominid. The other subspecies like Homo erectus and Neanderthals that emerged along with humans are now extinct. Researchers who studied both human and nonhuman primates learnt a great deal about the natural behavior of nonhuman species but could not make any judgment as the short-term information was confirmed in the long-run.
