Maple Community Building Project

Maple CBP (Community Building Project) sponsors, supports and promote larger civic engagement, leadership and community development in Maple by empowering and educating those individuals and groups that may be seen as unimportant by the society, for example due to their social status that belongs to the South Asian community for their economic and social well being by assisting them in improving their social and learning skills in them through various volunteer programs in the social services and education sector.

Objective

The main objective of this project is to promote increased participation in economic activities and to guide workforce in getting employment and to improve their living coditions as well as improving volunteer participation.

Target Population

Working directly with communities in solving the most serious problems affecting them, building confidence and teaching a transparent and sustainable model of development. This project implements an effective strategy that adds to the efforts of the community with social and technical advice for the solution of all the problems faced by the members of the South Asian community, especially solution to the problems of youth, women and children.

Quality Assurance

The project follow a set of rules that ensure the successful operation and maintenance of infrastructure services semi-public, common areas and respect for the rights that ensure a healthy and positive coexistence of South Asian Community with other communities in Maple.

Mission

The Maple CBP, through community building project, continues its mission, which is nothing but, organize the collective effort of organizations, government and other concerned authorities to develop actions to improve the quality of life of the individuals who are considered as unimportant of South Asian community by effective using resources that are limited in supply to specific projects and partnerships with communities, organizations, Social Development, Authorities and Companies (Human Endeavour, 2012).

Critical Evaluation MCBP

It shows that this methodology is a good basis for public policy of providing certain physical and social authority to those individuals of society that are considered to be insignificant members of the South Asian Community.

Promotes the participation of professionals in developing infrastructure of urban areas in the country to fulfill this urgent need.

Promotes the participation of universities and research centers in the design of urban infrastructure projects, educational programs and promote community organization and participation.

Promotes the participation of civil society, through the financial support and volunteer, in this process of collective education of coexistence and negotiation for the common good.

Generates employment in communities where the project is implemented.

Possible modifications/improvements within MCBP (Maple Community Building Program)

School Readiness program is a sub-project within MCBP which promotes the learned skills like working with others and sharing while learning to play with the blocks, write read and do crafts and arts in order to reach their maximum potential.
