Abstract

This project report is based on highlighting the impact of technology on global economy. Technology plays an important role in the progress of any country. It enhances the effectiveness and efficiency in management of quality services and production that is of great importance these days as processes and procedures are getting complicated and these cannot be handled without it. The economic development and social change that is observed in the world is mainly due to technological assistance. The information technology is a sector that is facilitating all the other sectors' existing in the country and that is contributing towards the country's gross domestic product (GDP). The world has observed considerable development in redirecting areas of information technology. It is technologies that has changed our life and have changed the organizational structure and processes by enhancing effectiveness and efficiency. Business operations and communication has been enhanced due to development in information technology.

The research is based on both primary and secondary data analysis that was helpful in research work and in fulfilment of project requirements in an effective way. In today's economy, technological development results in the biggest change. The computer plays the basic role of this technological development. Within the field of computer technology that has driven the world economy has been the communication networks (Internet) and its commercial uses. It specifically in the development of computer networks which is expected to be greater economic impact in coming years. It was found from this project work that technology is playing a greater role in the development and management of global economy.
