A criterion for a great civilization is to ensure that peoples within the civilization are practicing the principles of government set down in God's Word; another is to make sure that the people within the society are satisfied. Mesopotamia's history became more of a patriarchal society, whereby men were considered much stronger than women. Egypt was the first country in the ancient world whose civilization was famous for its principles of writing, inventing characters and hieroglyph. 21st century ideas greatly differ from the mentioned civilization as most societies in this century change in their values based on their beliefs and material benefits. Both the civilization treats its weakest member in the similar manner. .Reflections on what makes a good society involves keeping the individuals in the society satisfied; if they are satisfied then they will work towards the progress and advancement of the society.

Civilization is a synonym for culture level. It is also a stage of social development, whereby information and religious culture develops. Whereby coming down to the criteria of a great civilization, it is noticed that all the civilization has experienced a fall and decline in their time where some decline occur slowly over time, and some are drastic and rapid.
The single most significant criteria for a great civilization are to make sure that the people of the civilization are content or not. If they are not, then efforts should be made to satisfy them. If members of the civilization are not content then civilization will not flourish economically, culturally, or otherwise. Happiness, or the desire to have happiness, is the main cause of the creation, and longevity of great civilizations. When the majority of the people in a civilization are content they are more productive and more.

However, imperfectly performed, those societies that have enshrined biblical principles in their constitutions have enjoyed peace, progress, prosperity, prestige, and power far beyond the crude dictatorships of strongmen. Hence the focus on religious norms and values along with what comes under government rules are to be followed strictly in order to make a civilization great. Art, architecture, religion, philosophy, literature all flourish in such a healthy environment which is a trade mark of a great civilization.
