Territorial Expansion - The American Revolution

How did the U.S. acquire the territory in question?

For this project, our concentration and focus would revolve around the American Revolution that came with the Treaty of Paris in the year 1783. Even though much has been said and done, it becomes evident that regardless of the changes and the challenges that are now being experienced around the world, the American Revolution comes across as one of the most profound steps that came the advent and the inception of the American Rule, marking their existence for the following three centuries to comes.

However, in this particular situation, America brought about the end of the American Revolutionary War, reducing the ties and limiting interactions between the Great Britain on one side and the United States of America and its allies on the other side of the negotiation.

The basic way through the U.S. undertook the additional territory at the post-American Revolutionary was through the mandate of demarcating boundaries and establishing territories. France in this particular situation was being drained out of its energies and continued to give out the conquered that existed and were present at that time (Davenport and Paullin, 1917, p.7).

U.S. was aware of the fact that establishing concrete, physical boundaries with Great Britain would continue to make way for being a serious bone of contention and a source of conflict for the United States of America. Considering the stance of Great Britain, it became evident that after the War, Great Britain was in no position of continuing conflicts or even respond back to the recurrent conflicts and the hits that it received from the rebellious conflicts.
