In this chapter author is using LEED, to evaluate a future project, the goal to earn the most points in identified six environmental categories: Sustainable Sites (4 points possible), then Efficiency (points), Energy and Atmosphere (17 points), Materials and Resources (13 points), Indoor Environmental Quality (I score), as well as innovation and design processes (point). Obtaining LEED certification requires the registration of the construction project in the council, and then, after the completion of the project, submitting a statement with supporting data to USGBC.
