This paper intends to discuss the common features of Protestant Reformation, Early Capitalist Societies and the Enlightenment. Moreover, the differences in Chinese modernization from Western Europe and the United States will also be discussed. For the purpose of this discussion, the basic themes of 'The Calvinist Manifesto' and 'Where the East Parts from the West' will be incorporated in this paper.
