Germaine Greer (born January 29 of 1939) is an academic, writer and broadcaster Australian recognized as one of the representatives feminists most important twentieth century. Greer is a professor of English literature at the University of Warwick, England and the author of several internationally acclaimed books. Her book The Female Eunuch was one of the best sellers during the decade of 1970 published. This book, became the name of Greer criticized strange world while at the same time, it can be worshiped. Since then, his ideas have caused whole controversy (Greer, pp 1-2).
Her ability to communicate his own experience on lesbian sex, the rape, the abortion, the infertility, the marriage failed (confesses without shame to have been married for only three weeks), and menopause marks their talent.
After his success in 1970 with his book, The Female Eunuch, Greer left Warwick in 1972 after travelling the world promoting his book.
