Purpose of the reseach

I first heard of Penn Foster in 2004. Legal online took a secretarial course through Penn Foster Career School. At that time I had custody of my granddaughter one year old who lived with me. I also worked full time as an administrative assistant. At first I struggled to balance child care, work and my chores. I loved the course however. I had been secretary for over twenty years and this course was very good for me. Furthermore, I choose this course because it was their own pace and interest free monthly payments easier. The course took about nine months to complete and I did very well. I received a lawyer's certificate in 2005. Then I decided to look into the Penn Foster College Associate Program Degree. I enrolled to study for my Associates in Business Administration in late 2005.

Introduction

Thousands of people have struggled for years trying to balance their studies, their workloads and family life demands. Now that I have lear how to balance my studies at Penn Foster, work, and my Famly this has become very simple for me. I'am a 30 year old man who is married with one child. I've been a licensed barber for eight yeas and now I have my own salon has been open for six years. As a barber and have my own store is good, but not growing the way I thought it would. So I had to make some changes in my life to live in better comfort.

I'm going for a day program that helps me to balance work, family and school. Many people do not have time to go to a classroom when you have a job and a family to spend time. It can be very difficult when you have to work and take care of his family while trying to go to school. The number of traffic accidents has increased substantially in recent years because more drivers are distracted while operating their vehicles. With cell phones, iPods, Blackberries and the drivers and are paying more attention to technology than to the road and other drivers around him. Driver distraction is one of the number one cause of traffic accidents resulting in serious injury or death (Andres, 2010).
