Introduction
The purpose of this study is to expand the boundaries of the author's knowledge by exploring some relevant facts related to comparison of legal systems in the United States and United Kingdom. The legal system of the United States of America for its nature of common law offers the opportunity to explore a completely different order. It is a system whose sources of law are different from most existing in the Americas. From this point of view, it represents an interesting dimension, unknown, and even arguably intriguing, especially for the civilian lawyer. The study of the American system opens the door to meet those same institutions in a common law system (Maskus, pp. 51-58). The importance of work in this regard should be dimensioned in the growing increase in the legal relations between United States and United Kingdom. The legal system of the United States of America has its roots in Europe, specifically the United Kingdom. The author refer to this country specifically for the influence transmitted by England, after having been a colony of that nation until the late nineteenth century, when it gained independence. Thus, being free, the American legal system evolved, adapting to new lands, sometimes acquired through the purchase and sale, in others simply by the violent expansion and bloodshed (Waldron, pp. 67-74). In the next section, the author will examine the comparative factors of US and UK legal systems particularly focusing on the rule of law and property rights.
