Evolution of Divine Providence

God governs all the things present in the universe through the means of Divine Providence. The divine providence doctrine declares that God controls all the things in the world. All of this includes the physical world, the nations; affairs, the birth and death of the man, the destiny of the individuals, the failures and the successes as well as the protection of His people. This doctrine is the opposite of the idea numerous individuals have that the world is run by fate or chance. The main goal or purpose of the divine providence is carrying the God's will and ensuring that the purposes of God are fulfilled. God is the one governing the affair of individuals and work out the things through the natural order of things. The laws of the nature are merely a representation the work of God and these laws do not have any power of their own neither do they work on their own. These laws follow the principles and rules put forward by the God for determining the development of the things.

Numerous of the historians witness the political, economic and social factors as the significant influence on the history whilst some other historians believe that everything happens through divine providence. They believe that the involvement of the divine providence in the history should not be denied and it is a topic for further research and investigation. The divine providence is the almost the same as the decisions of the humans (White, pp. 57-98). In a very real sense the individuals are not free to choose or act outside the will of God, not even their sinful choices.
