CHAPTER # 4: RESULTS AND FINDINGS
Introduction
This research study is conducted to examine the challenges of records management, and security risks of the electronic records in charities and voluntary organization. To ensure that the data are authentic and secure the records and archives require a proper management framework system. This chapter presents the findings of the survey which is conducted to examine the advantages and risks of electronic records. The employment of professional information technology personnel and regular training programs of staff as prerequisites to a quality records management strategy were also examined. For this research study there were 15 managers randomly selected across the charities in west Yorkshire region and were requested to complete the ten questions listed on the interview sheet. The potential respondents of this research study have high level of experience, working either in the charities, voluntary sector or in some occasions both.

There were 40 percent of the respondents who took part in this research study are from age group 46-55 years. There were 33 percent of the respondents who took part in this research study are from age group 36-45 years. There were 20 percent of the respondents who took part in this research study are from age group over 55 years.

There were 66 percent of the respondents who took part in this research study are working as senior administrative assistant in the charity/voluntary organization. There were 26 percent of the respondents who took part in this research study are working as administrative assistant in the charity/voluntary organization. There were 6 percent of the respondents who took part in this research study are working as manager in the charity/voluntary organization.

This section presents the findings of charity questionnaire. The questionnaire responses were analyzed by using frequency analysis technique in SPSS 16.0.
