A young boy Almeda is 10 years old and being a bilingual student he has a good command over Spanish and English. His first language is Spanish, and that is the reason he uses Spanish at home for conversation with family members. He has friends with whom he speaks Spanish, but in school he only uses English for conversing. Currently, his English written assignments do not seem good. He is not getting satisfactory grades in English writing. Evaluating his papers and condition his teacher asked him to consult a school psychologist (Goldfinger, Pomerantz, 2009).
