Life and demographics vary along different places in Texas. Waco is a small town community in Texas and a rather closed place within the state. A medium-sized airport in Waco takes you to Dallas, where you can set for any other place in the world. The town is very appealing for a busy urban dweller in Texas. In contrast to Waco, the city of Plano is more affluent and full of luxurious and recreational avenues.

Since there are few recreational spots in the city, the people of Waco repeat their visits to familiar places rather than going outside the town. Families may visit a historic places like Heart O' Texas Coliseum and Historical Waco Home on the Brazos. A small museum and a zoo are other favourite family places. Only a few big buildings are there in the town. One of them is a Lake Air Tower, a residential condominium community place.

Having little influence and attention of law enforcement in the place, Waco is infamous for its reputation as being a violent city. Criminal activities like snatching and drug use are seldom reported, but do exist. One might not find stringent police officers near every important place down the road. Being sparsely populated, Waco is a safe haven for drug smugglers and other criminals. While drugging is also common in Plano, there are many measures of contrl and prevention. Since there are not many commercial activities in the town, families in Waco earn less than their urban counterparts. Most draw lower income to support their many traveling and holiday dreams. There are not many popular restaurants; eating at home is preferred by much of the population. A good home-made feast is something you may commonly experience in Waco.
