Introduction

Nigeria is the largest country in Africa. Like other African countries, Nigeria is facing myriad of problems ranging from cultural, economic, education, and others. Education in Nigeria has developed during the last two decades, but the problems do exist in the system. According to a report, published in 2007, 40 percent of students still lack the opportunities to go to school. In this paper, the writer will provide recommendations and suggestions to improve the education system in the country.
