Introduction

The profession of nursing has been continuously evolving and changing, and the advancements in modes of study have further accelerated the process of changes and development. It is due to the same reason that new degrees are being introduced in the field and the nursing professionals are making efforts to ensure that the patients are provided with best possible care and attention. However, in some cases, a competition starts between the various level of education and the uncertainties regarding effectiveness of either of them leads to a form of battle between professionals belonging to each of these fields. A similar issue is going on between Associate-degree level trained nurses and the Baccalaureate-degree level nurses, and there are certain uncertainties regarding the effectiveness of both of these levels. In United States of America, nurse are offered three different levels of expertise and specialization, with the major ones being Associate-degree level trained nurses and the baccalaureate-degree level nursing. In both the courses nurses are required to compete the particular duration learning and gaining expertise, which would allow them to be an expert nurse in future.
