Discussion
TIA stands for Transient Ischemic Attack. It is a kind of mini stroke that has all the same indications as of normal stroke. The duration of this particular stroke is lesser, usually twenty four hours or lesser. These strokes do not damage brains permanently. On a serious note these strokes must not be taken lightly as they are the signals of severe stroke (Mary Ann Forciea, Risa Lavizzo-Mourey, Edna P. Schwab, 2004, p 253).
Behind every stroke there are certain indications and signs. Similarly, the signs for TIA and strokes may include;
Inability to understand things, finding it difficult to speak, and feeling confused.
Vision or sight related problems (with one or both)
Feeling weakness or lack of sensation in legs, arms or other body parts.
Inability to walk and maintain balance.
