Education Sector of UAE

The education sector of UAE has been considered as one of the key sector in the country, the sector has approximately 24% of the total expenditure of the government, with an estimated market of US $7.31 billion. The evidence has given the proof of increase in the demand of the private schools, which will result in the best standard of education that can be compared on the international level. Moreover many schools and universities are being in the launching phases in the country, which will provide such programs, and courses which will be globally recognized so that the local students can take the benefit of those open programs and courses. These added features are the main features of attraction for the foreign students, and they are very much inclined towards the education sector of UAE, thus this is seen as the opportunity by the investors to invest in such industries. The country has the expectations and high demands for more schools, colleges and universities in near future. The percentage of private schools in UAE are 60% of the schools in the country, that are serving their education to 0.5 million of the students. As the expectation of increase in the population is very much high because of the immigration of non-citizens are kept on entering the country, this will result in the increase of the private schools, and continuous change for the improvements in the curriculum to compete on the international level. Moreover due to globalization many international investors are also expected to enter in the education industry and open new schools and universities at private level, which will serves as providing the high class education on the international standard. UAE has also witnessed the demand in the higher education, as the demand for higher education has been increased approximately 0.8 million of the school going students have demanded to move into other countries for higher education in the countries like UK or USA, which are already dealing with tough financial crises.

Basic Education in UAE

The provision of serving in the education in the UAE with quality has been initiated after the establishment of federation with the commencement of UAE's first university in Al Ain, Abu Dhabi, and the United Arab Emirates University. After the establishment of the federation the country has started progressing in the education sector, and ensuring high literacy rates, programs in the education and share of women in the education. The UAE currently allocated approximately 25 percent of total federal government expenditure to education. On the whole literacy rate is 91%.

In the country the basic education has been claimed to be free for both the male and the female genders throughout the university level.
