Let's take a look at a classical masterpiece; in 1902 George Melies made a movie “A Trip to Moon”. This was the first movie which introduced the concepts of aliens. This movie was the first science fiction movie in the history of showbiz entertainment. Although this movie was a bit short, but this movie was the super hit of its era the most significant thing about that movie was the idea of pace shuttle, and the launching of the bullet rocket towards moon. If we compare it with recent science fiction movies, may be it is not even close, but at that time, it was something pretty new to think and discuss. In that movie, a group of people on earth decide to go to the moon. After reaching moon, they travel and explore it; soon the mushroom shaped aliens catch them, and take them to their leader. Humans realize that these creatures are easy to kill; they kill them and come back to earth (Patrick, 2009).

This story is not even close to satisfy the entertainment need of a kid now, but at that time where there was no concept of aliens. Moreover, if you analyze on that time there was no such concept of human travelling to other stars and planets. This movie was launched 70 years before the arrival of a human being to the moon. That is the main reason critics grade this movie as a pioneer in the history of fiction and science in Hollywood. Now let's come to the main topic, the movie “Attack the Block”. In this movie unlike other fiction stories, there are some new efforts and ideas which arise the rating of this movie. This movie is unpretentious and straightforward science fiction movie. Where instead of some rough and muscular men, there are a bunch of teen thugs around which the whole movie revolves. They look perfectly savage teen thugs to avoid. They are looting a gorgeous nurse (Jodie Whittaker), suddenly they saw a contemptible creature interrupting them. Having a boyish tendency of violence, their task was to first interrupt this damn creature, than show it the price to come in front of them, and then show the world its sealed fate (“UKBoxOffice”May, 2011,, 15).
