Introduction

The paper analyzes the article written by Waytz. A, “Causes and consequences of mind perception”, that highlights a brief understanding of mind perception, which can be observed as the most important factor and component of social life for the people are not force to ascribe minds with the other people however, they would ascribe mind to non-people.The Areas of Analysis

In analysing, these two main areas on mind perception, Waytz, A. et al. (2010, p.383) points out that the first area on analysing mind perception are to understand why mind perception occurs. This relates to the causes of mind perception which commences from both the 'perceiver', that is the person who has a perception of others mind and the 'perceived' the one whose mind is being perceive by the perceiver. It may indicate the demand for social connection associated to the perceiver and a similarity to one self, associated to the perceiver.

The second area to analyze in mind perception is to understand its consequences on both the perceived and the perceiver as having knowledge on both the causes and consequences provide cognitive skills and the explanation for why mind perception matters.The Research Conducted

However, in the search for theories connected to the understanding of mind perception, many researchers have undertaken and these includes a study that investigate as what is the perception of people in defining mind and its consequences. Whereas another study based on when people perceive minds in others and there is also a research centred on why mind sensitivity and perception matters for living (Waytz, A. et al, 2010, p.383).

The cognitive sciences have placed much interest into the understanding of how people think about minds.
